    Description

    WW1 Bruce Bairnsfather Grimwades Plate 1917 Staffordshire with the famous cartoon "When the 'ell is it goin' to be strawberry?". Plate measure 8-1/4" in diameter.
    Good condition for its age. Of course, craquelure and brown staining, but the transferware is very good with minimal, if any, rubbing. There is some wear to the back stamp regarding the girls from Staffordshire, etc., but no cracks. There is one small flea bite on the outer rim.
