    Description

    For sale is an extremely rare early 20th century British leather cordite or shell ordnance carrier, possibly of the Royal Carriage Department of cylindrical form with a pair of strap handles, marked 'R.C.D.' , and inked and marked "N", about 10 inches diameter and 27 inches high, 34cm diameter x 93cm high. Missing lid. The leather is worn, dry and damaged. The interior appears to be canvas and is in fair to good condition.
